Teri Awaaz — Your Voice is an inspirational story set in the coal belt of Jharkhand, India. It follows Rameshwar Prasad, a sixty-eight-year-old deaf coal miner, who teaches his orphaned eleven-year-old granddaughter Meera to sing for a district competition — without being able to hear a single note she makes. It is a story about what we inherit from the people who love us, and what we carry forward for those who come after.

Teri Awaaz is a novel-length short story — long enough to feel complete and emotionally full, short enough to read in a single sitting of two to three hours. The ebook is 86 pages and includes 7 chapters, a Prologue, 14 original illustrations, a complete original song, a Glossary, and a Discussion Guide.

Mann Ki Dhun is an original song composed specifically for this story in Raag Bhairavi. The complete lyrics — in Hindi and English — are included in your ebook.
