About the Books

Teri Awaaz — Your Voice is an inspirational story set in the coal belt of Jharkhand, India. It follows Rameshwar Prasad, a sixty-eight-year-old deaf coal miner, who teaches his orphaned eleven-year-old granddaughter Meera to sing for a district competition — without being able to hear a single note she makes. It is a story about what we inherit from the people who love us, and what we carry forward for those who come after. 86 pages · 14 illustrations · $9 USD.

Patang — The Kite is a story set in Ahmedabad during Makar Sankranti, the kite festival. Kamla has mended broken kites in the same lane for forty years. Suresh was a boy who used to bring his broken kites to her — until one morning he left for a different city and never came back. Forty years later, during the festival, a kite carries two letters across the city. A story about silence, love, and what it means to stop carrying alone. 81 pages · 16 illustrations · $9 USD.

Maati — What the Clay Kept is set in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh — India's blue pottery town. Dhanraj has spent sixty years at the wheel shaping clay into everything except words for his son. Vikram has spent eleven years in Pune, sending money home through a middleman, telling himself it is enough. When Vikram returns after a fall near the kiln, he finds a notebook in his mother's handwriting — and a story she kept hidden that changes the shape of his entire life. A story about grief, fathers, and the kindness left behind by the people we lose. 69 pages · 10 illustrations · $9 USD.

Each story is a novel-length short story — long enough to feel complete and emotionally full, short enough to read in one sitting of two to three hours. All three stand entirely on their own and can be read in any order.

Krishna Boon is the pen name of a writer who believes the most important stories are the ones that almost did not get told — the quiet ones, set in small lanes, about people the world does not think to look at twice. Teri Awaaz, Patang, and Maati are the first three works in this collection. More stories are on the way.

Yes. This website uses HTTPS encryption (the padlock in your browser). All payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal — both of which are PCI DSS compliant and trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. We never handle your card details directly.

When you buy directly on krishnaboon.online, your payment goes straight to the author with no platform fees deducted. You receive the same files at the same price — and you support the work more directly. Amazon and Gumroad are available for readers who prefer those platforms.

Because ebooks are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final once your download link has been issued. However if you experience a technical problem — a file that will not open, a corrupted download, or a link that does not work — please contact us at enquiry@krishnaboon.online within 7 days and we will make it right. If you accidentally purchased twice, contact us for a refund of the duplicate.

Delivery and Downloads

Immediately after your payment is confirmed, you will receive an email with a secure download link. Click the link to access your personal download page, where you can download both the PDF files with one click each. The entire process is automatic — no waiting, no manual steps required.

Please check your spam or junk folder first — automated emails sometimes land there. If you still cannot find it after 30 minutes, email us at enquiry@krishnaboon.online with the email address you used to purchase and we will resend your download link promptly.

Your download link is valid for 48 hours from the time it is sent. We recommend downloading your PDF as soon as you receive the email and saving them to your device or cloud storage. If your link expires, simply email us and we will send a new one at no charge.

Your purchase includes a PDF file — readable on any device: phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. Also printable. To read on Kindle, email the PDF to your Kindle address or transfer it via USB. One purchase, one file, works everywhere.

There are two easy ways:

  • Send to Kindle email — go to your Amazon account, find your Kindle email address (ends in @kindle.com), and email the PDF file as an attachment. It will appear in your Kindle library within minutes.
  • USB transfer — connect your Kindle to your computer, open it as a drive, and copy the PDF file into the Books or Documents folder.

If you need help with either method, email us at enquiry@krishnaboon.online.

Other Questions

Yes. More stories are on the way. Subscribe to the newsletter on the store homepage to be the first to know when the next book is ready — you will receive the first chapter free before it goes on sale anywhere.

Your purchase is a single-user personal licence. We ask that you do not share the files with others — if someone loves the story after hearing about it from you, the best gift is to send them the link to purchase their own copy at krishnaboon.online. The best way to support independent authors is to share the story, not the file.

Please visit our Contact page or email us directly at enquiry@krishnaboon.online. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
